Skin Lesion Removal

Skin Lesion Removal is the process of removing an abnormal growth on the skin (“skin lesion”) for either medical or cosmetic reasons. Skin lesions can include warts, moles, cancers, and skin tags. The procedure can be done to remove cancerous lesions, chronic skin irritation due to the lesion, or for cosmetic preference. Other times, our physicians will remove a skin lesion to make sure it is not cancerous, and, if it is cancerous, to prevent its spread to other parts of the body. Most procedures are not highly invasive and, frequently, can be well-tolerated by patients of any age.
